Enjoying retirement is now what life is all about and when the opportunity to visit Henley on Thames arose in early June 2014, we grasped it with both hands. And we were not disappointed. The town is picturesque, one can walk the river banks both up and downstream and the work making the Thames ready for the Henley Royal Regatta was fascinating to watch. The weather was excellent with the exception of one morning as can be seen from the pictures below.
Having bravely ventured south of Watford we then carried on further south and visited our good friends, Bob and Brenda who live in Dorchester. As you can see, our three days spent with them were most enjoyable.
