it's not exactly what it would appear to be
the majority of the buildings of Prague along with those of Krakow and Budapest all have the appearance of being built of stone. However this is not so, they are built of brick and covered in what appears to be a sand:cement render. What you see in the picture is what happens to a building when it is not maintained
