Hohensalzburg Castle
above the clouds and in the distance can be seen Kehlsteinhaus, "The Eagle's Nest" which is located high above the town of Berchtesgaden
the Kehlsteinhaus is a chalet-style structure erected on a sub peak of the Hoher Göll known as the Kehlstein. It was built as an extension of the Obersalzberg complex used by Hitler and erected in the mountains above Berchtesgaden. The Kehlsteinhaus was a 50th birthday present for Adolf Hitler and intended to serve as a retreat and a place for him to entertain visiting dignitaries
