Towards the end of September we returned to the Lake District and on this occasion were accompanied by our good friends, Mick and Jennifer. After having unpacked and there not being a cloud in the sky, we set off on our first walk. The following pictures record that walk. Rain was forecast for the next day so a scenic bus ride from Grange up and over the Honister Pass, alongside Buttermere and Crummock Water, through the Whinlatter Forest and then to Keswick was much enjoyed. The last day, although fine, was dull so a walk of some 8 miles was enjoyed but no more pictures were taken.
