Although the weather forecast was not good we ventured forth into Yorkshire. The seaside town of Scarborough and the historic city of York begin this gallery. On my 65th birthday and as a result of drawing my state pension I was finally able to purchase petrol for the roadster. So, with a full tank we drove through Hull and on to Spurn Point where we ate our sandwiches in a deserted bird spotting hide with delightful views over the North Sea. With the sun still shining and “the top down” we retraced our steps over the Humber Bridge and round the Lincoln by-pass.
