In 2008 and 2010 we toured Scotland and were blessed with unbelievably good weather and the "top" on our BMW Z4 was down for the majority of the time. Since north of the Glasgow-Edinburgh corridor travel is by way of "roadster roads" and the single track sections with passing places north of Ullapool are a joy to drive, in June 2013 we decided to "do" Scotland for a third time. However, not intending to push our luck, wet weather gear was top of the list of clothes to take with us. As can been seen from the photographs, the sun shines on the righteous and an application of sun tan lotion became the norm before setting off each day.
