Home»The county of Kent, July 2011
Since we have only travelled through Kent by road to catch "Le Shuttle" or by rail on a high speed Eurostar bound for Paris, our knowledge of the county was minimal. However, a walk along the White Cliffs of Dover, a visit to the English end of the National Grid link between France and England, a trawl over the litter strewn beach at Dungeness and quiet contemplation in Canterbury Cathedral during four perfect days in July 2011 have begun to correct that omission.
