As a couple who have always enjoyed outdoor life, fifty two years ago we spent our honeymoon fell walking in the Lake District. We have continued walking there and in our own county of Derbyshire ever since. On each occasion my camera has accompanied me to record, as we walked, the countryside we saw and enjoyed. Over the years and as memories fade, looking at the many images of places we visited has given us both much pleasure. It was this feeling and the thought that our walking days might soon be over that was my inspiration for creating this gallery. My intention is to show the landscapes and eye catching features that captivated us. All of them seen from the paths and tracks we walked, sometimes in glorious sunshine but often under threatening cloudy skies.

More importantly, the images remind us of our precious time spent together.
