On the 29th of August 2014 we set off on a rail journey that would take us across France and visit the Italian cities of Torino, Firenze, Roma, Napoli, Lecce and Venezia before returning via Switzerland. In the Swiss Canton of Bern we stayed in the village of Lauterbrunnen which nestles under the shadow of the Eiger, the Monch and the Jungfrau.
