In June 2009 we walked across Hengistbury Head to Warren Hill, people and boat watched at Mudeford, strolled along the Bournemouth Promenade from Alum Chine to the pier, enjoyed exceptional Indian cuisine in Dorchester, visited Thomas Hardy's cottage and a rode on the Swanage Railway. And on our second visit in September 2011, we enjoyed sculpture by a lake, the sea front at Bridport, Chesil Beach and a steam gala day on the Swanage Railway.
