As far as I can remember we have never visited Renishaw Hall, the home of the Sitwell Family. In May 2016 that omission was corrected and together with our good friends, Peter and Irene Ormerod the hall was visited. The weather was not perfect and during our walk around the wood and formal gardens it rained. However the gardens are superb, being well maintained and other visits, hopefully in better weather, are sure to be made.
