Home»On being a member of Matlock Camera Club
Joining Matlock Camera Club was one of my better decisions. Having been an amateur photographer for some 50 years and for most of that time, ploughing a lonely furrow, making friends with like-minded individuals and entering the club's competitions has seriously enhanced my enjoyment of owning a camera and taking pictures. Below are my entries to the competitions, some images have done well, others not so. However by listening to the judges’ comments on my images and those of my colleagues, I have learnt a lot and for that I am most grateful. Wherever possible I have included the judges comment on each image and thereby, what it taught me.
