In the May 2010 and with both Lorna and myself retired we decided to explore more of the west coast of Scotland. Starting in Inverness we travelled to the west coast town of Ullapool, caught the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry to Stornaway on the isle of Harris, drove south to Poolewe and visited the famous Inverewe Gardens before venturing onto the Isle of Skye.
