As a reslt of one thing or another we hadn't visited the Lake District for just over a year so in August and just before the Bank Holiday weekend we decided to remedy the matter. The weather forecast was not good and we expected to do little walking but, much to our surprise, after heavy rain in the night, the days were fine and bright. Set out below are images captured with my new Leica M10 complete with a new aspheric 35mm Summicron lens. We enjoyed our walks and hope that you will enjoy them too.
